Denise Guidetti, M.D., FACOG, is a board-certified specialist in Maternal Fetal Medicine. She has over 30 years of experience in the field of perinatalogy.  Dr. Guidetti received her undergraduate training at New York University and subsequently attended the State University of New York at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn where she received her medical degree. Her residency in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology was completed at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York. She continued her training at Albert Einstein as a fellow in Maternal Fetal Medicine. She became board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Maternal Fetal Medicine. Dr. Guidetti then accepted a position on the faculty of Long Island Jewish Medical Center where she directed the Antepartum Testing Unit. This unit cared for mothers and fetuses with a vast array of high risk problems, receiving referrals from all over the tri-state New York area. She was involved in the training of residents, medical students and nursing staff. She has published in a variety of medical journals and textbooks and has had research presentations at national and international meetings. She has also presented extensively at educational seminars both at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and at surrounding area hospitals. At the end of 2008 she decided to relocate to the Palm Beach area to be closer to family. Dr. Guidetti enjoys spending time with her twins, cooking and gardening.
