Maria De La Luz Nieto, M.D. is fellowship trained in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Nieto recently moved from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, to the Sunshine State of Florida, to practice Urogynecology. She joined the Ob/Gyn Specialists of the Palm Beaches, PA. She works at the West Palm Beach office. She spent her undergraduate years at Wesleyan University, and earned her Medical Degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine with a certificate in Clinical Research. She completed her residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
Dr. Nieto specializes on Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology). She has a passion resides in the area of female pelvic health encompassing medical and surgical treatment options for female patients who suffer with, pelvic organ prolapse, overactive bladder, urinary and fecal incontinence and chronic pelvic pain. She offers comprehensive care, diagnostics, and treatment modalities including OFFICE CYSTOSCOPY, PESSARY fitting for pelvic organ prolapse, PTNS (peripheral tibial nerve stimulation), in PNE (peripheral nerve stimulation), and detrusor BOTOX application for OAB (Overactive Bladder), URODYNAMICS allows detailed assessment of our patients incontinence issues providing sound guidance for treatment options. Within our office, we offer PELVIC FLOOR MUSCLE THERAPY AND BIOFEEDBACK with specialized female physical therapist. Dr. Nieto offers advanced laparoscopy with robotics using the da Vinci Surgical System.
