Steven J Fern, M.D., FACOG is a board-certified Obstetrics and Gynecology physician in Florida that has been practicing his specialty for more than twenty years. He also specializes in hormone replacement therapy and the use of bioidentical hormone pellet therapy. He also has expertise in the management of excessive menstrual bleeding and in procedures such as laparoscopic hysterectomy, hysteroscopic resection of fibroids, and endometrial ablation. He has office hours at our Wellington office of OB/GYN Specialists of the Palm Beaches.
Dr. Fern is a New Jersey native and he received his medical degree and completed his residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.
Dr. Fern chose this specialty because he considered it the best opportunity to offer preventative care to women and to care for them in all stages of life. “It is a field that offers a doctor the honor of assisting in the joy of birth and the satisfaction of helping to assist in the prevention of cancer and other common diseases as women age.”

Dr. Fern is married and has three children. In his spare time he also volunteers for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Federation.
