Dr. Starr is an advanced practice registered nurse and clinical researcher with 18 years of experience treating women with symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction including bladder and bowel control problems, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, sexual pain, vulvar disease and recurring urinary tract infections. Julie received her doctorate degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia. Her dissertation topic focused on the comprehensive management of women with pelvic floor disorders. She is an active member and volunteer in the American Urogynecologic Society and believes in keeping up to date on the latest treatment regimens so that she can offer her patients the best and most up to date care. She speaks both nationally and internationally on pelvic floor disorders and is considered an expert in her field.
