After serving time in the Navy Dr. Samuel Travis, MD went to the Naval Academy for undergraduate school, where he majored in Chemistry. He then completed medical school at University of Maryland School of Medicine, after which he began residency in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He served the Navy the following decade, practicing in naval hospitals in Virginia, Sicily, and San Diego before joining OBGYN Specialists of the Palm Beaches in 2025. Dr. Travis is passionate about individualized care, collaborative patient relationships, and minimally invasive surgery.
Outside of medicine, he is interested in history, hiking, and baseball.
